Don't Just Take Our Work for It

Excellent cheesey potatoes, pineapple cake, olive burgers. Stuffed tots were insane!! Pizza was also an excellent choice. Great service, owners are the best people ever. Will definitely stop here again when in the area. Strongly recommend trying it out!!

Cheese curd appetizers followed by an all you can eat fish fry on Friday night or smothered Prime rib French dip sandwiches with beer battered onion rings were served with a smile at this classic family friendly Northern MN bar/restaurant. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Well worth the visit.

Great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and tons of fun events to attend as well. Craft shows, painting classes, etc. happening all year round. This is not just your average bar… they go above & beyond! Our family through multiple generations have many great memories here at the inn. We absolutely love everything about this place!

Stopped with my father in law after shopping in Duluth. We happened to pull up right when a ton of sleds did too but fortunately our food came out really fast and was fantastic. He had the cheeseburger special 2 for 9 and I had a fish sandwich both were great! Waitress did a good job

Island Lake Inn has excellent food. The appetizers were delicious and the pizza is particularly good. The service is fabulous. We had 9 people in our party and our waitress was so friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be back.

Don't let the outside appearance fool you.  Take a step inside and you are taken aback by the clean and open but yet comfortable feel of the place.  Food was great, service was excellent and prices reasonable. Definitely will stop in again.
